These terms govern your use of thepawpawco.com and anything you buy from us. By placing an order you accept them. They are written to be read, not to be survived.
1. Who we are
This store is operated by The PawPaw Co (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@thepawpawco.com. Our registered business name and address are set out on our Contact page.
2. Ordering
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract forms when we send you a dispatch confirmation, not when you click the button. We may decline or cancel an order — and will refund you in full if we do — where the item is out of stock, where the price or description was clearly wrong, or where we suspect fraud.
We do our best to describe and photograph the product accurately, but colours can vary between screens and packaging can change between production runs.
3. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in the currency displayed at checkout and include no import duties or destination taxes (see our Shipping Policy). Prices can change at any time, but never after you have placed an order. Payment is taken at checkout via our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
4. Shipping, refunds and the guarantee
Delivery is covered by our Shipping Policy. Refunds, returns and the 60-day guarantee are covered by our Refund & Returns Policy. Both form part of these terms.
5. Using the product safely
The PawPaw™ Nail Grinder is a grooming tool for dogs. Use it as described in the handbook supplied with it. Keep it away from children, do not immerse it in water, and do not use it on a dog with an injured, split, infected or bleeding nail — that is a job for a veterinarian.
The handbook and everything on this site is general grooming education. It is not veterinary advice and it does not replace it. If you have any concern about your dog's health, comfort or behaviour, speak to your veterinarian or a qualified fear-free trainer. You remain responsible for your dog's wellbeing during grooming.
6. The free handbook
The Calm Nail Day Handbook is supplied free with your order for your own personal use. We keep the copyright. Please don't resell it or republish it; sharing it with a friend who owns a nervous dog is entirely fine by us.
7. Our content
The text, images, logo and design on this site belong to us or our licensors. You may read, print and share the pages for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy them for a competing product or a resale listing.
8. Reviews and anything you send us
If you send us a review, photo, video or suggestion, you give us permission to use it in our marketing, with your first name and last initial. You keep ownership. Tell us if you'd rather we didn't and we will take it down. Please only send material that is yours to send and true.
9. Liability
We stand behind this product, and nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited — including your non-excludable rights as a consumer. Subject to that, our total liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for it.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one published when you placed it, so the date at the top matters.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which The PawPaw Co is registered, as stated on our Contact page. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country you live in, and you may bring proceedings in your own country's courts.
